About Spring Research Conference 2016
SRC is sponsored by the American Statistical Association (ASA) Section on Physical and Engineering Sciences (SPES) and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS). In 2016, the conference will be hosted by Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL. The conference has been in existence since 1994 and recent conferences have been hosted by the Procter & Gamble Company at the Hyatt Regency in Cincinnati, OH (2015), the University of Washington (2014), UCLA (2013), and Harvard (2012).
The purpose of SRC is to promote research in statistical methods that address problems in industry and technology and to stimulate interactions among statisticians, researchers in the application areas, and industrial practitioners.
The conference will consist of keynote speakers, invited and contributed sessions and plenty of time for networking and collaboration. There are also scholarships available for students and those starting their careers.
